IFG Monthly meeting report 19 02 17
Dr David Cumin presented an interesting analysis of the significance of the recent UN resolution 2334 sponsored by New Zealand. It was evident that recent politicians had taken a different and more extreme direction compared to New Zealand’s previous relatively balanced approach to Middle East issues affecting Israel. He urged that it was still not too late to send letters to MP’s and other forms of activism, because although the resolution is not binding it is being used by many anti Israel groups to justify their extreme tactics. Many questions and answers interspersed the presentation and several people shared their own ‘activist’ experiences.
Mike led the group in prayer at the end and as always a pleasant time of fellowship followed.
