After introducing Celebrate Messiah Scott spoke engagingly, from some wide experience,  about the preoccupation of Israeli Youth in particular with a range of New Age philosophies and systems. Scott outlined the four basic, false presuppositions of New Age thinking and elaborated on each Рthey were

  • God is an impersonal force, requiring no accountability.
  • This divine force is in everything – there is no real death.
  • You can become a god.
  • Knowledge is freedom.

We all learned much, especially about the most appropriate ways to engage with young Israelis searching for the truth.
