Johan’s Bio

My name is Johan Jansen van Vuuren. My family and I immigrated from South Africa in 2000. I was born into a believing family, and as far as I can remember, I always believed that Jesus died for my sins. My upbringing in the church was in the Reformed Church, but I always had the burning question, What about Israel? I could never receive a satisfactory answer from my pastors and elders. God took me out of South Africa to remove me from reformed tradition. Here in New Zealand, I started to listen to Chuck Missler on Radio Rhema. He answered a lot of my questions. One day they announced that Dr. Fruchtenbaum was coming to New Zealand. I went to the meeting and knew this is what I want to learn. After the meeting, I spoke to Tony Wood, and he gave Dr. Fruchtenbaum’s study on the Eight Covenants of the Bible. That changed my life. I kept in contact with Ariel New Zealand and became a supporter. In 2013 I attended Camp Shoshanah for the first time. The next year the Ariel New Zealand Board resigned. John Cavenah, Jason Santiago and me formed the new Board. In 2018 I quit my job and started working fulltime for Ariel New Zealand. I am a tradesman by profession and never studied formally at Bible college. I wanted to go to Bible College many times, but God has always closed the door, and I finally realised God wants to use me without a formal qualification. I do study though, and mainly Ariel material.
